Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read and interprets equipment manuals, wiring diagrams and job orders to perform maintenance and service.

  • Perform mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance, diagnostics and troubleshooting with the ability to independently repair units.

  • Use a variety of hand/power tools and electrical test equipment in performing duties to detect faulty parts and submit repair quotes electronically

  • Adhere to all Federal, State, Local and Company policies. Practice and comply with all company safety procedures.

  • Ability to be part of an on-call team to assist with afterhours customers’ needs.

  • All other duties as assigned

Education and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working on 10kW – 3,500kW generators.

  • Possess an OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (as required by local jurisdiction) or have the ability to attain one.

  • Possess an NFPA 70E certification (as required by local jurisdiction) or have the ability to attain one.

  • Possess and maintain a current, valid state driver’s license.

  • Possess a current DOT medical card or have the ability to attain one as required.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and on call hours as required.

  • Must possess set of standard hand tools and meters to successfully do the job as required.

  • Ability to work in a productive manner in all types of weather conditions and environments.

  • Possess strong customer service focus with good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient with general computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
